Hi friends i'm Gopal today i'm here to discuss about cloud computing,
before going to our topic let's have a question why cloud computing?
we know that data is the most precious thing in our modern world, we need our data to be safe secure and easily accessible. As we are floating in the digital world, we need to retrieval our data at any place and at any time and it is possible to do all these things with cloud computing.
what is cloud computing?
Cloud computing is the delivery of different services through the internet which includes tools and applications like data storage, servers, databases, networking, and software.
Types of cloud computing
Types of cloud computing can divide as two types i.e. Deployment model and service model.
Deployment Model
A cloud deployment model defines the cloud services you are consuming and the responsibility model for who manages them.
The cloud deployment models are divided into three types such as public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud .
The beside image shows the difference between public, private and hybrid cloud.
1) Public cloud :
- In public cloud the cloud infrastructure is made available to the general public over the internet and is owned by a cloud provider.
- e.g. AWS,Microsoft azure, IBMS etc.
2) Private Cloud :
- In private cloud the cloud infrastructure is exclusively operated by a single organization. It can be managed by the organization or a third party and may exist on-premises or off-premises.
- e.g. AWS, VM Ware etc.
3)Hybrid Cloud :
- The hybrid cloud consists of the functionalities of both public and private cloud.
- for e.g. Federal agencies optioned for private clouds when sensitive information is involved also, they use the public cloud to share data sets with general public or other government departments.
- If your business needs a virtual machine you have to for infrastructure as a service.
- If your company requires a platform for building software products, pick platform as a service.
- If your business doesn't want to maintain any IT equipment then choose Software as a Service.
